This small, sovereign island nation in the eastern Caribbean has no regular military force. Instead, all duties pertaining to law enforcement and protection of the island fall under the jurisdiction of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, an agency of just over 1,000 personnel that includes the Coast Guard and a Special Service Unit.

• Members of the Special Service Unit wear woodland pattern camouflage fatigues that are essentially identical to those formerly worn by US military personnel.
