Sultanate of Brunei
The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei) wear a locally-produced copy of the British tropical DPM pattern. Several variations of uniform style and slightly different colorations have been observed, probably indicating a variety of manufacturers. As the Armed Forces are known to conduct training exercises with many of their Asian neighbors, it stands to reason some of the uniforms may be produced in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore or Thailand.
- Seen here is an example of the DPM pattern taken from an issued uniform.
- In May 2011 the RBAF official unveiled its new Digital Disruptive Pattern (DDP) camouflage design, produced by the Singaporean company Force 21. This design replaced the previous DPM pattern throughout the entire RBAF.
- In 2019 two additional digital designs were introduced for the Royal Brunei Air Force (TUDB) and the Royal Brunei Navy (TLDB), with grey and blue color palettes respetively. At first glance, the Air Force design appears to be an almost direct copy of the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) previously worn by the US Army.
- Circa 2019 the National Service Program of Brunei, or PKBN (Program Khidmat Bakti Negara), began issuing a unique camouflage uniform to enrollees. The pattern consists of horizontal, wavy stripes in black, light brown, and aqua blue with small patches of white.
