Borsarello
Dr. Jean-Francois (J.F.) Borsarello was a French physician, noted acupuncturist, and dedicated researcher of military camouflage studies. He is considered one of the pioneers of military camouflage studies in the 20th century, being credited with several of the earliest books on the subject and several hundred articles (most of these in his native French). Dr. Borsarello was also an avid collector of military camouflage uniforms, although in later life he passed on most of his collection to others, continuing to research and write about the subject until his death in 2007. Although some of his early resesarch has been superseded in the age of the internet, students of camouflage nevertheless owe a huge debt of gratitude to his body of work, which has continued to provide a solid foundation for the basic student of the subject.
