  • 1953 splinter pattern. A very crudely printed splinter pattern used for coveralls.

  • Splinter pattern. Used by the Bulgarian armed forces during the communist era.

  • "Frogskin" pattern. Used during the communist era for coveralls. Some sources claim that it was to be used by paratroopers (to confuse NATO forces), and that it was later used by Border Patrols (not Border Guards). Other claim that it was used by Border Guards.

  • "Rain drop" pattern. Like many other Warsaw Pact armies, the Bulgarian Army used this pattern for coveralls (apparently only limited issue).
