- JSDF Airborne Pattern (JSDF Type 1 pattern). Worn by members of the 1st Airborne Brigade. 1980s to 1992.
- Japanese Air Force pattern (JASDF pattern). Worn by Japan Air Self-Defence Force - 1988 to present.
- JASDF five-colour desert pattern - Japanese Air Force desert pattern. Never adopted. Around 1992-1995.
- JGSDF Type II camouflage pattern - in general service with the Japanese Ground Self-Defence Force from 1991.
- Winter version of the JGSDF Type II camouflage pattern - a brown version of the above pattern
