Republic of Iceland

Of these, the Air Defence System is the most traditionally "military" in nature. There is also a Coast Guard, and a National Police force. The Icelandic Crisis Response Unit (ICRU) is a small peacekeeping force that has participated in such missions as SFOR, KFOR and ISAF, although it can also function as a paramilitary force in times of crisis.
Camouflage Patterns worn by Iceland
- The ICRU personnel that deployed to Bosnia (SFOR) and Kosovo (KFOR) wore ex-British military issue Soldier 95 DPM pattern camouflage uniforms.
- Members of the Icelandic Crisis Response Unit (ICRU) deployed to Afghanistan (ISAF) wore the Norwegian M03 desert pattern in 2004-5 and again in 2006-7.
