Serbia was part of Yugoslavia and later "Serbia and Montenegro" until 1996. Despite being a part of Yugoslavia Serbian police units did use some patterns that what not used by the other member states of Yugoslavia.

Military patterns

  • M89 oak leaf pattern. In general use by the Serbian forces.

  • M93 oak leaf pattern. The same camouflage pattern as the M89, but used on a new series of uniforms.

  • MDU02 woodland oak leaf pattern. In general use by the Serbian Armed forces. New "NATO" colours

Paramilitary patterns

  • Greek lizard used by Srpska Dobroljacka Garda ("Serb Volunteer Guard" - also known as Arkan's Tigers) - led by Arkan (Zeljko Raznatovic). It was founded in 1990 and fought in the wars in Croatia and Bosnia. Article on Wikipedia
