The first camouflaged uniforms used by the Danish Army was WW2 tanker's suits received from the British. After WW2 the Danish Army was equipped with British uniforms (battledress) and equipment. Later (1958) the M/58 uniform was introduced - a plain green uniform. The first camouflage uniform developed in Denmark was the T/78 - it was based on the German Flecktarn (tested during Truppenversuch 76 in 1976). The T/78 was just a test uniform and the experiences gained by this uniform was used in the M/84 that was introduced as the standard camouflage pattern for the Danish Army in 1984.
